Remarks

The toUpperCase method has no effect on non-alphabetic characters.

The following example demonstrates the effects of the toUpperCase method:

strVariable = strVariable.toUpperCase( );

The value of strVariable after the last statement is:

THIS IS A STRING OBJECT
