Util.ChangeFocalLength() Method

Make a permanent change to the configured telescope's focal length

Syntax

Util.ChangeFocalLength(NewFocalLength)

The method syntax has these parts:

Part	Description
NewFocalLength (Double)	The new focal length, meters
Return (Nothing)	Does not return a value.

Remarks

Useful when a script has determined the true focal length of the telescope (e.g., via plate solution). This will alter the configured focal length, and therefore calculated plate scales, for subsequent plate solutions and other calculations.
