Plate.MinimumBrightness [= Double]
The property syntax has these parts:
Part |
Description |
Value (Double) |
[deprecated] The minimum integrated brightness for a star to be detected (default = 0) |
Remarks
This is a
deprecated property. In this version of PinPoint you should not change this value, the default (0) is correct. If you are having trouble getting plate solving to work, first verify the accuracy of
ArcsecPerPixelHoriz and
ArcsecPerPixelVert and your nominal centerpoint coordinates.
This property is not in any regognized system of units. It is the sum of the pixel values for a detected star, normalized to the averaged background for the "tile" within which the star falls.
Legal values range from 0.0 through 200000.0.
